natural snapshots for talent agency?
There is an agency that I want to try to sumbit myself to for acting. They said that if you are “new talent”, then you need to send in two “Natural Snapshots” of yourself. Does that mean just any pictures? Like done with a digital camera? Or would it be better to have Pro headshots made and then send those in? Thanks for any help!!
is this an agency you want to get signed with for acting or modeling? models do not need to have a portfolio, and just have to send in one head and shoulders shot and one full length (usually in a swimsuit) with no makeup against a white wall. LEGIT acting agencies however require PROFESSIONAL headshots, along with a demo reel and a resume that has tons and tons of work on it- if any kind of acting agency says all you have to send in is a couple of snapshots, its a scam, period and you shouldnt move forward with it. a legit modeling agency would also specify whether they want 3/4 or full length, etc, so if all they said was “2 natural snapshots”, that also sounds like a scam. a real modeling agency does not look at girls submissions who are under 5’8, a size other than a 2 or 4 (unless its plus, which is size 12+), and dont fit into the proper measurement range though, so if the website of the place youre looking at doesnt say that anywhere on their site, its a scam. real agencies are never this vague, and acting agents never ever sign people who arent seriously experienced and well trained.
